An Inconvenient Truth and Supersize Me

My husband and I have recently watched two movie documentaries and while they didn't change my views and opinions any, they only helped to reinforce what I already believe.
If you have not yet seen Al Gore's An Inconvenient Truth or Morgan Spurlock's Supersize Me, I strongly encourage you to do so (I have linked to both from my blog located at http://SewGreenBlog.blogspot.com).
An Inconvenient Truth is about the perils of global warming and how we are now living in a period of consequences. Althought the USA is, by far, one of the biggest contributors to global warming, we all have a moral obligation to change our ways. As a big supporter of the organic industry and a proponent for sustainable living, I feel like I am already doing A LOT to reduce my "footprint" on this earth. But I can do more. What are you doing to help?
Although Supersize Me is a few years old now, Morgan Spurlock's well-illustrated points are just as appropriate today as they were then. This film alternately left me spell-bound and wanting to wretch with disgust. How anyone could eat fast food again after watching this movie is beyond my comprehension. YUCK! I care about my body, my health, the health of my family, and the health of my environment. Do you?
Who else has seen these movies?
These are the discussions we should be having on mylot. When faced with these sort of issues, how can the far more trivial "discussions" such as who is sleeping with whom be a priority?
