Has anyone visited the Butterfly Conservatory at the Boston Science Museum? I went there last year and I thought it was the most beautiful experience! Can anyone else tell me about their experiences at this butterfly conservatory or at any other? I'd love to hear!

That sounds like a very lovely place We have one near by in Chattanooga. I have not been but thought about going and maybe take the troop. I was kind of worried that some of the girls might not enjoy it much and be bored. I would love it and a couple of mine would to,but alot want more action and hands on stimulation. What do you think. Did your kids go did they enjoy it? Tell me more.

My daughter loved it and thought it was a great place to visit. She is very interested in butterflys though so that may be why. If you have a group that wants to run and be rowdy, then this may not be a good place as you do have to be a bit careful as butterflies can land anywhere and you don't want to step on them. I think it is a fascinating place to visit though.

We have a Butterfly Conservatory in Pittsburgh, PA and it is so beautiful! We loved the experience AND when we homeschooled the kids were a part of a butterfly project where they each got a caterpillar to raise into a monarch and then tag it for flight when it came out of its cacoon. It was wonderful!
