I should ask how many of you! They can't find out what's wrong. I just live on pain pills when they flare up!

Ohw it sounds really awful. I have never had migraines really. But when I read or hear about it, it sounds quit bad. Some people can hardly get out of their beds. My sister inlaw drinks cola when she feels the headache and sayd that it helps her. I do not know wether this works for everybody, but just give it a try. And look at other ways to relieve yourself. And my personal preference will go to solution that isn't so chemical like most medication is.

Yeah, you can get nauseous, sensitive to light, throwing up and all that. It sucks. I got one now. Gotta take something!

Have they tested you for allergies? I have a friend who has a major improvement now that they know she has allergies, and they cleared up a fungal infection in her sinuses. Personally I started having fewer headaches when I increased my magnesium intake. I was never diagnosed as migraine, but had them four or five times. per year. Magnesium is good as a supplement with calcium for your bones, it is also found in seafood, nuts, and bananas, too, I believe. Some research has indicated good relief for migraine sufferers who make this change to their diet. I am so sorry you have so much pain.

Thanx. I'll make it. I usually get them when I wake up. I have allergies, but my headaches are different! Even a specialist couldn't figure out what causes them!

My wife suffers from chronic daily migraines and has had them on and off for 25 years. She's been to MANY specialists in and out of the US who mostly want her to begin taking anti-seizure medications. Tradiitonal triptans and other pre-emptive migraine meds all fail her. Interesting comment about the nasal fungal allergy. She'll get a migraine when she has foods like preservatives, tanins, etc. We're somewhat at a loss but are now exploring surgery to add a brain or heart shunt.

I used to suffer from migraines. I would have at least 1 or 2 a month and suffered with them for about 7 years. I had nausea, sensitivity to light, and vomiting. I visited a licensed nutritionist who informed me that the migraines were caused by toxins and poisons in my system. I start cleansing with all natural products to rid my body of the toxins. I also started drinking a natural fruit juice with over 40 antioxidants in it. I no longer suffer. They are miserable. I feel for anyone who has to live with them. I hope you are able to find relief!

I have suffered from migraine headaches my entire life. My mother took me to many doctors as a child and was told that "children do not get headaches". Well I did then and I still do to this day. Since I have been an adult, I have been to doctors and specialist. We have tried just about everything, I have done the logs, I have had CT Scans, MRI's, MRA's, Brain scans, x-rays all with no avail. I am on a preventative; i have medications for when I feel one coeming on but most of the time I just end up at the doctor or hospital to get a shot for pain and vomitting. I can sometimes go a month without getting a headache but it is rare, I usually end up with at least one a week. We have not been able to find a reason for my headaches but I have found that the heat makes it worse, which tends to be a problem since I live in florida. I would not ever wish one of these headaches on anyone so I do feel for all of the others out there that have these headaches like I do.
