I have built some websites with Notepad and I'm now using Textpad (I can't live anymore with auto indentation and syntax highlighting). As for languages, I programmed in HTML, Javascript, PHP, XML and XHTML.

I've forgot to add CSS. But that's almost as obvious as HTML, nowadays :P

You cant, you need to have some Knowledge in it. Or that the best thing you can have is the Template that comes with the proggram.

Yes, I do build sites. I am into web designing for last 6 years. At the start, I used Microsoft Front page to build and edit html but later I switched to Macromedia Dreamweaver. I find it much better and clean than the Microsoft's Frontpage. For image creation, editing, layouts and other design requirements I use Photoshop. Currently using Photoshop CS2. I also use Macromedia's Firworks at times. It is helpful to build image based dropdown menus. But, Firworks and Flash are used once in a blue moon. Lately, I've been using TextPad or Notepad to edit code.

Hey.. i have a web development company. We build many types of websites like Static, dynamic, CMS, ecommerce, job board. As of editors, DREAMWEAVER is good. But .NET 2005 framework is very good. We use technologies like ASP.NET, PHP and JSP as well.
