Name Brand Workout clothes, or regular?

Do you need to buy adidas/nike for work out clothes, or can it just be regular no name sweats? What about when buying for your kids? Do you like to make sure they have all the popular brands? Or do you get whats on sale?

The only thing I care about when it comes to clothing for working out in is the quality. I don't care what brand I'm wearing just as long as it doesn't shrink or bind up when it gets sweat in it.
If I do buy workout clothing that is considered a popular brand, I guarantee you it was on sale;)

I go for the cheaper brands but not the cheapest because I want a little quality too. Of course if you buy the popular/expensive ones, you're sure of the quality if you can afford it.

I like to browse through Ross, always can find the name brands at really low prices!!
