Anybody ever fly in a Biplane?

I have a list of things to do before I die. On my list is to fly in a biplane. I used to watch the TV show Petticoat Junction, and loved the character of Steve's bi-plane. Something about actually having the wind in your face and a feeling of freedom. I am curious if anyone has ever ridden in a bi-plane and if so, how was it? I fear I may have romanticized the experience and it may never live up to my dreams. Maybe I can be the next Red Baron? Or the next Snoopy shooting down the Red Baron.
