Last year was my first time to travel. The first place I visited was Singapore. I love the place, very clean and safe. Things are in order and I don't encounter any hassle, I am sad because we could only afford 3 days there. Standard of living is quite expensive there but its worth it.
I have taken this picture of the orchidarium in botanical garden as I am thankful I visited the place. I love flowers and the place is really beautiful and calm.
Do you still remember your first travel? What are your memorable experiences?

i had been to singapore 12 years ago. i stayed there for 2 weeks. singapore is so clean. noone's allowed to smoke and chew gums. it's so so clean and the air is so fresh. even if it's too small a country, it has lots of good places to go to. i've been to orchidarium, jurong bird park... and my forever favorite---sentosa island. and oh, i forgot to mention, the under water world! it's a great place to visit! i love it there and i wanna go back there someday.

Yes I'd been to Singapore years back. I remember the places I frequented were Botanical Gardes at Cluny Road. The Thieves Market and Lucky Plaza. Singapore is indeed a model place in terms of cleanliness and order. And oh, Sentosa is worth mentioning and the nearby Jurong Bird Park. Your posting brought back nice memories of my travel to Singapore.
Thank You.

In 1998 I graduated from the senior high school and after my passing had the obligation that made me must go on a trip and my aim was South Sulawesi at that point one big island available in Indonesia, when arriving in my one area felt the climate that was very cold in caused the place to be under the slope of the mountain, very cold the atmosphere in the area and very very beautiful the weather in the morning there and the area had the very unique waterfall, there early I went on a trip.

I have never been to Singapore but have been to Hong Kong 3 times during the 80's on a business trip. Its a very good place to shop as its duty free. Lots of items under the sun. The streets are clean both in the Kowloon and Hong Kong sides. The air is okay. One thing I enjoy is the food. From restaurants to booths they serve very good Chinese food. I plan to visit Hong Kong in 2008. Singapore too.

I also want to visit Hong Kong and shop there for items I want to sell, but oh well right now I couldn't afford it but I hope I could do that in the future. In Singapore the food is also great at Hawker's places. Chinese food are also one of my favorites.

Singpore sounds like a good place to visit, I would like to go one day. I have not travelled much in my life, I have only ever been abroad once and that was to Spain.
I will try my best to change this, hopefully will be going to Amsterdam this year.

Yes I remember the first time I travelled overseas, I went to Papua New Guinea. I like the place but it was extremely hot, everything was alright but I went there due to my boyfriend at the time it was very different to where I come from but there were some very nice places to go and see to make me feel better about being there.

I would love to go to Singapore. It sounds so pleasant and beautiful.
My first trip (other than to the lake to camp with my family) was when I waas a teenager. My family went to Disneyland. It was a great experience. (Although we were too scared to go on a lot of the rides, so I think our parents were a bit disappointed, we still had a good time).

The 1st place i travelled to was the siesta hotels in benidorm, it was an amazing place with 3 hotels under the same name. Siesta 1,2,3 we became very friendly with the woman who ran the bar in the hotel and once i feel into the pool and her husband jumped in the pool to save me. It was very warm and we used to go and play pool at night. 3 years later we returned although this time our friend who had worked in the bar now owned her own pub and resturant it was beautiful and because we were staying 20 miles aways she let us stay in her bungallow until the next day. Suprisingly the bungalow had not been cleaned since the last people who stayed in it, was disgusting dust everywhere and the small of damp cloths but i will never forget the place one of the best places i have been.

I have been in Singapore 7 years ago, and it was also my first time to go aboard. And now I am living in Singapore. Unfortunately, you only visited Singapore 3 days. Singapore still has many attractive tourism area which is you need to come back and feel it. The latest even is just yesterday night, the new year eve fireworks festival. It is celebrated every year by government. This million dollars event has attracted thousand of tourist to enjoy that night. Kelly, i do wish you to come back to Singapore.
