why peope only pray when they are in trouble?

i often turn to god when i'm feeling down, or i need his help, a miracle maybe. as long as i'm happy or i don't need a miracle i kinda forget about god. it was a time when i at least tryed to thank him each day. i didn't pray to him daily but i took moments to say "thank you god for being there for me". now i feel empty. even when i am in trouble i find it very difficult to pray or ask god for a miracle.
why people only turn to god when they are in trouble and need a miracle? why don't people take a little time to thank him for the miracle of their happiness?

i pray daily.bt it is well said feel troble u'll be happy later,if u come out of it.

i know people like that,who only pray when something is wrong.if we aint careful when we do this god may not help us.he is a good and loving god but he also wants us to pray to him daily.in a way thats kind of like using him.i would feel that way if someone only wanted me when they were in needed something.i think we have all been guilty of doing this sometime or another.

i'd wish people would realize that and see things same as u see them. u are absolutely right, and even though we might not pray to him daily, we shouldn't do it only in times of need either; from time to time would also be ok i guess. just to thank him and ask him to continue watching over us

cause only tht time they will think of god the last chance ...i hope ...but its not true we all r making mistake we have to thank him and think god all the time....

I _do_ try to do this nearly every day. I thank God for everything good that is in my life and I try to listen to any messages that I need to know in order to keep my life on the right path that it is meant to be on. I don't know about others, but I really do try to be thankful as often as I can for the good things in my life! ^_^

Why do pigs look up when they are shot or aboutto die. well thats the only time they look up.
Its just a question..
Well people feel they need god or they call for help only when they need it..
And its really something that wont help..
Its like going to your dad only when u need money

It is not that everyone prays, when they are in trouble. Some people pray all the time.

most people i know only pray when they are in trouble ... including me unfortunatelly.
