New Year almost here!

We're staying home. We invited a friend and his son over. The friend is going through a nasty divorce, and we didn't want him to be home alone. I made a really nice dinner for all of us, and now they're all watching football games. At midnight, I will break out a bottle of Korbel and we will toast the new year.

I just spent the evening with some friends. Sent the older girls to the sitter and took the baby with me. I actually stayed out til about 2 which is SO late for me these days! It was a good time, just talking and stuff.

Hard to believe that 2007 is here, isn't it? We kept it pretty quiet here tonight- my boyfriend, his brother and I went out to a chinese buffett (very good and I'm very full)! We had planned on watching some fireworks as well (which were being let off at a local park), but it's being raining all day and it still continues to rain! I was a bit sad but I bet there were a lot of disappointed kids! Maybe next year though...
