Universal Serial Bus; Advantages and Disadvantages

Would you mind explaining to me about some of the advantages and disadvantages of using USB (Universal Serial Bus) interface? Please explain.

It is really portable enough, will fit to any USB port, anything can be used with it. for the disadvantages, I don't think it has. It is better than the parallel stuffs before. You wont lose the pins when you try to disassemble it. and it is really handy, available anywheere and cheap!
