No its not necessory, but there have some respect for an educated person Example : Whats the diffrence between Engineer and machanic? Obviously one of them is educated so we have respect for engineer. One should will have educated for earning and for respect :-)

Its not that u should finish your education to earn. Even a person who has not gone to school can earn. But if you are educated then the respect you get and the zenith up to which you can go in your career will be much much higher. That makes the difference. May be you can earn without completing your education. But it will be lower than what you will earn if you finish your education.
