Is snape Good or Bad?

Dunno, He is bad but still i think that he'll help in some way or other to harry.

clearly...he's a good guy,just the fact that he hates the main character doesnt make him a bad guy..thers still something dumbledore dint say to others abt snape,i feel..he mite prove very valuable in the coming events....

Though he is not bad guy,his character always make some suspcion. basically i hate him & a way he react to harry.

I don't think he is either, he is in the middle. He is just very jealous of Harry, that gives him a mean edge

I'm not really sure where his loyalties lay... it's pretty obvious that he completely loathes harry because of what his father and his cohorts did to him in the past but despite of this he tried to help Harry once or twice. Dumbledore seems to trust him but then he killed Dumbledore. He is a very confusing character so I'll just wait for the last book to finally find the answers to Snape's confusing character... For now, though I consider him in leage with the bad side because he killed Dumbledore, but who knows, maybe he'll redeem himself in the end ;)

I don't think he is a BAD person....He cud be helping harry in some way....

I hope Snape turns out to be good. We are not supposed to trust him. Both sides think that he is spying on the other for them. It seems he could go either way. He will most likely side with whomever wins the battle of good vs. evil.

though i cant call him a good person, hes not necessarily bad. personally, i think he's just one of those people who just goes with the flow; if evil triumphs, at least he can say he's a part of it. but if good triumphs,he can just say he's pretending to be evil for goodness sake.

I think he is a good guy (maybe) But I don`t like him.
