I don't like Christian rock, or any other form of Christian music. Not because I have anything against Christians, I just think that these songs and records are lame sounding. It's one big giant money making industry... and gag me with a spoon... Christian rock is the worst of them all. Has anyone ever noticed that they never put any real effort into these songs? The only reason why these albums sell at all is because they're singing about God and Jesus. The songs all have similar melodys and chords and they're usually not very complicated ones either. They make you feel like you're in a psychiatric unit doped up on happy pills and being forced to sit through a group session. Even jesus himself would get mad about how much money is being made off of this industry. It's disgusting. The only good song about Jesus I ever heard was a song by "Kayne West, Jesus Walks" and he's not a gospel rapper. He can write about anything he wants and that's why his song is actually good. "Jesus Walks" is outside of the Christian music industry. Sometimes I go to Christian churches. They usually play a few of those sappy songs every time I go. I hate it when they want everyone to join in and they put the chorus lines on an overhead projector so you can follow along. And then there's always someone that has to start putting their hands in the air and start jumping and getting all gitty and emotional. That just makes it all the more lame. Don't get me wrong, if they are really feeling happy and connected with God then good for them. I just wonder how such a crappy song can bring out such emotion. It's like you're back in the first grade singing along to "Hot Cross Buns" in your first grade music class. I'm just glad the churches don't start handing out cow bells, chimes, and wooden sticks so you can play along with the music as well as sing.

if you will just think about money then definitely you will feel rage but the christian song are more deeper thatn that.
i heard some christian rock song here in the philippines made by pilipino rock bands and i can tell that it really sound good and not lame.
i think when it comes to this type of music we have to be more deep and see the song more meaningful.

Okay, now! We're not all that sappy and crappy. What Christian music have you been listening to and for crying out loud girl, which church have you stepped into that might hand out cow bells? Or that you were relieved they didn't.
I do agree that when there's money to be made Christians better know what they are doing with that kind of financial blessing. But then again, are you saying that Christians shouldn't make money? We've got to eat.
