Best Responses: sometimes you just have to laugh

I've been reading (and occasionally responding) to a variety of discussions today, some old and some new.
Now I will admit that I haven't ever started any what could be considered controversial topics, I have some discussions where I haven't chosen a best response and I have some where I have chosen and then a few days later someone will respond with something that could be considered a better answer but...
I have to admit that it makes me laugh when you read a discussion - the discussion starter states their side and 99% of the responders disagree with what they have to say, many that do it in a well-thought out, constructive and polite way - yet the 1 person that comes in as says I agree with you is the one the gets best response :-)
Maybe it's just me but I figure if someone is prepared to debate (politely) a topic and is prepared to put some time and effort into their responses, they're the ones that truly deserve it - regardless on whether or not they agree with me.

Oh man you are sooooo wrong!!! you do not know what the heck you are talking about.......blah, blah, blah!! HA, HA!! is that best response material?!? :-) Sorry just playing! I know what you are saying, I personally go with the creative aproach. I give the best response usually to the most creative post, or the best which ever floats my boat at the moment. If someone is going to give a great disertation on why they do not agree with mee, hell they win the prize!!

lol - that's pretty much the way I do it and will admit that some times it comes down to a virtual toin coss, but I figure those that pay attention to the topic at hand and are prepared to genuinely voice their opinions are the ones that deserve to be in the running :-)

I dont make any comment about some users of myLot as stated by you.
This is how I select the best answer. If u find it useful for u, u can also do it this way.
The answer should be correct.
It should not be as much lengthy that the reader gets afraid of it on seeing such lengthy answer.
An added image will be an advantage.
It should not be short enough also that it lacks the basic things.
It should carry a source page also so that if the asker wants to know more, he has the choice to visit the source page.

1stly, Happy Belated New Year to you!!! and then...... half these folks at times respond with comments that at times i even have to wonder if they know what they talking about. They read the next persons response add a word or 2 to it and then they get marked 'best response'. Go figure!
