here in the philippines, we have two famous sports star. first is manny pacquiao for boxing and efren "bata" reyes for billiards. both are most of the time champions in their field of expertise.

it's very difficult to answer since quite a few have emerged recently in various sports. cricket: sachin tendulkar, M S Dhoni tennis: hesh-lee, sania mirza formula 1: narain karthikeyan .....and so many

India in the international less world-class athletes, cricket is very popular in India, but most countries in the world. Many people have never heard of cricket. India's tennis great potential, should be able to produce world-class athletes.
