Do you check all of your kids candy before they eat it? Have you ever found anything in it?

My daughter is 9 months so she won't be eating any of the candy while on the other hand her father and I will probably end up eating it. Im going to check it or else I might just take her to church and buy candy for my husband and I to have at home. Then at least we know it's really safe.

We don't participate in Halloween activites but I remember that my great-grandfather would wrap 5 pennies to look like a Hershey's kiss and pass those out to neighborhood children.

That is a good idea! What can be better than money. The richer neighbors in my town would have a huge bowl of change and have you grab as much as you could with one hand or candy bars with 5 dollar bills in them! I loved getting the money instead of candy. Thank you for responding!

I have never found anything in my children's candy because I only let them go to the houses where I know the people who live there. Luckily, our town is pretty small so we know many people.
