what is the pre-occupation with oprah...I recently went to another forum...and the entire conversation was about how Oprah has moved from being a black supporter to promoting middle aged middle income white females, and that she would not allow 50 cent to come on her show.....what is up with that...the woman worked hard and deserve to have the life that she chooses.....and if that white middle aged women why should it matter. Why does she have to be a representative for the entire black race on her back! Further why is she responsible for helping everyone on the planet.....shes had a good run, no doubt about that....but I think ppl are far to wrapped up in WHAT YOU CAN DO FOR ME rather than helping themselves....

ok i get it, Oprah is a strong black woman that has overcame alot. People need to learn to fish. Yes you heard me right. If you give a middle aged white woman such as my self, a fish i will eat for a day. Teach me to fish and i will eat a lifetime. Well i did not depend on Oprah to put me through college when i was a single white mom living in a trailor court. I worked two jobs went to college and managed to rear a millionair son. So you are absolutly right. Whassup with all the dreams comming true. Where is my dreams. Those were snagged away with an auto accident. I dont feel sorry formyself. I get on the computer and pinch a penny out of it and make my own way. I am happy my son is happy. Hey I did it on my own.

OMG....dont say that ppl are gonna want to know why your son dont drop everything and take of you instead of living his life.....lolol

they had better not. I taught my son to be independant. He made his life and he had better enjoy his life. I am not his problem. I am making my own life and i am happy with it. If i called my son he would be there, and if i needed him i would but i take great pride in doing it myself.

thumbs up to you misty...could not have put it better myself....am not perfect....but many ppl say it but have grreat difficulty living it!!! thats awesome! =)
