If there is complete solar eclipse, then we recieve advice as, not to view it with naked eye. Why? Because UV rays may damage your eyes. While the sun is not in total eclipse, we keep on viewing it directly without sun glasses. Why only during total/partial solar eclipse it is adviced to view it not directly but through dark film. In my view if there is total solar eclipse, then moon will be in between earth & sun, so whole of the / part of the UV rays will be blocked by the moon itself, so it should be more safe to seen sun while it is in partial / total eclipse.
If u feel my view is incorrect / partially correct / totally correct, then please say something to correct it so that I can correct my view point.
Thanks
