Do you think children should be limited to the amount of time spent playing video games?

Yes, I do. I find they get kind of obsessed with a game, and need to take a break, and get outside and play. In my mind, no more than an hour a day. I think that's reasonable.

I think they should. It also depends on the video game. If it teaches them, then I dont mind them spending time on them, but just mindless shooting games, I think they do more harm than good. I was recently surprised to find out that there is like a worldwide contest on video players and they were showing a winner guy on there on this tv show. My thought was "this guy is so proud of himself for what? sitting for 20 hours at a time in front of a tv pushing buttons?" What has this world come to? I mean, if this person takes that talent and actually uses it for something to benefit the world, thats cool, but please! I just dont understnd. Thanks for the topic.

First of all raise your kids that they will lsiten to you. then explain to them tht they can first finish their studies for the day and then go on to play video games. As long as they can study well and cope with with their other jobs it doesnt matter how long they play.
