The first story.

I heard that another part of LOTR is comming up based on the book called Hobbits. That movie tells the story of the first great war,story of golum,and also of the existance of the ring. Is it true?

"The Hobbit" had been released in multiple animated forms. A live action film would be lovely - even though it involves more walking than the Fellowship...oi! I would love to see the Riddles in the Dark scene, though. And, honestly, I hope that Peter Jackson directs it. Since it is the first book, and he already made the trilogy, it would be a shame to lose the feel that Jackson created for these movies.

Jackson and New Line Cinema aren't on the best terms these days. www.imdb.com/name/nm0001392/news But I would love to see some more Lord of the Rings on the big screen.

The first book is called "The Hobbit" That's where you first meet Bilbo, Gandalf and Gollum for the first time. I would like to see a movie on this one since I think they did a pretty good job of following the books fairly closely in the LOTR

Well, I have also heard that the film based on "The Hobbit" will be produced soon but I actually don't know if it is true.

i dont know if it is true but the hobbit is a pretty interesting book.definately movie material.it's a prelude to lotr but it stands on its own as an indivisual story about bilbo and his travels
