Outsourcing of Jobs from West to East......whom does it help?

There has been a wave of outsourcing since 2000. Lot of jobs have been out socuce to India, China, Philipines and other small countries... there is an argument in West that they have lost many jobs to India and China and they have gained a lot from this movement... is it a truth? Is western contries not benefittting from this .... what do you think .. should this continue or there should be an end some where????
