what do you do for your kids when they are grumpy.

I am sure, that i am not the only mother who was awoken by grumpiness early this morning. Being New years day and all, im sure there are many of us wondering, Why did i let him stay up so late? When my little guy is grumpy, i usually try to cheer him up with happy/silly songs, or cuddle him and give him lots of warm milk (his fav. drink) but then it depends on WHY he's being a grump, if it's my fault (ie letting him stay up until 10:00 p.m. like last night) , i give him lots of lee way, if it's just a tantrum, a time out or an extra nap is sure to follow. what do you do for your little ones when they are extra grumpy?

thats great if it is his favourite drink. But my daughters, the second one ya she has her share and gets goin. Problem comes with the elder one she hates milk.. we have to show her favorites nemo, monsters inc., hanuman animation movies and she drinks as if she is fighting the evil in the picture.
