when you start a dscussion on my lot or respond to one

when you start or reply to a message on mylot, do you ever go back to check responses? I have replied to some asking a question, and the user never replies etc.
just for a quick example say someone is looking for a good deal on a house to rent *just an example* and I reply saying I can help you find one, but where are you located? and it never gets another response.

I try and reply to responses to my topics. It may take a few days for me to do it but I do. As for responses. I only go back if I post something that someone will have a comment back to. Like if I said I know of a good paying site I'd definately go back to make sure someone hadn't asked for the link. :)
I run into that a lot myself. I ask something from soeone and they never reply back.

Yeah, some people don't look, or if they already found something to suit their needs, they don't return to the original topic. Also, it could be due to the popularity of the discussion. My last one got about 5 pages of comments, and I couldn't keep up with everyone commenting on it.
