I always wanted to collect coins but never knew where to start.Keep it up you'll get lots of money for a good collection. take care

I am very interested in coin collection. I have a small collection of coins. Indian and other countries. But I dont have any very ancient coins. I have coins of the British East India Company, The Portugese East India Company, The British Indian coins, the coins of various princely states in India like Travancore, Pudukkottai,Tippu etc. I have a collection of international coins also. Also certain commemmoration coins by the Government of India and the Reserve Bank of India. But all these are collected a few years back. Now I am very much inactive in this field. After reading this thread I want to explore a little more into the fantastic world of coins.

I used to collect coins. I have a very very large collection, but I don't really look after it... it's more of a drop your change in this box when you come back from a trip sort of collection. I have some 19th century coin in there, but nothing very spectacular. If anyone is interested in Israeli currency, we could probably work something out...

yes i am a coin collector since from child hood , it was my hobby but now its my business too, i do it part time its called numismatics, and then i earn around 50000 rupees per month working 2 hrs daily, very good investments also, rather than indian coins i also like invest in forein coins.as i am indian stay in mumbai city and there are many europeans coming in our city i deal with them also, then its pretty good business ......i work online also for this business where i got chance to earn about 6.9 lac rupees in a weeks period, very impracticle but then its networking and india being most populated place working out to be very good.......rhen its e business so i work through computer and internet also.....keeping my hobby as hobby also......cheers
