Does anyone have any New Year's Resolutions? Do you think you will keep them? My resolution is to get on a healthy diet plan and really stick to it. I also plan to add exercise into the mix so that it will all work together. I am very much hoping it will work out and I'll be able to stick to it.

I prefer not to make resolutions because they are too easy to break. We make the resolution but then too often don't follow through in laying the plan of "how" we will keep that resolution. I do, however, try to set a couple of goals for the new year. Right now, my goal is to get organized and back into some sort of manageable routine. I feel like things have really spiraled out of control with all the holiday hoopla.

Technically, I don't make new years resolutions any more, but I did kinda this year. To get back into some kind of shape. I am terribly overweight. The thing is that I never keep resolutions...I try. I am really going to try!

The only resolution I've made in a long time was to never make any more resolutions because I never stick to them anyway. I do need to lose weight though, and have been working towards that goal. I find it easier to stick with it if I try to take it in small steps rather than try to take a giant leap, so I try to set small realistic steps. Once I reach the first goal, then I will worry about setting the next one. I have a long way to go, but I know it would just discourage me if I set my goals that hight. I hope you are doing well on your healthy diet plan and are losing the weight you want to lose. If not, try setting small goals and don't give up. You can do it.
