Hi scarscar... yes I would... I did... and I married him :)
Now, I don't advise it for everyone, of course, and ESPECIALLY not for young people... but if you build up a relationship over a period of time (such as email, snail mail, phone, etc.), then yes, I think it's possible to meet in person. Like anything else, it has to be done safely and sensibly (i.e., letting people know what you are doing, where you're going, etc.) and it's not something to be secretive about. If you have to keep it a secret, you shouldn't be doing it! ;) The internet has definitely become another way to meet and connect with people. It amazes me to know that I would probably never have met my husband otherwise because we weren't even living in the same country when we first met. Same continent, yes, but still pretty far apart!

it depends... if he/she lives at the other side of the world, then I won't go fly over there just to see him/her.
instead if he/she lives in the same country and we have seen each other via Webcam at MSN, I can think about it to meet him/her irl or atleast i'll exchange phone numbers to seend SMS's. :D
