150 quid, on the road, peugeot 205

so i turned 17...saved up abit of money and started my lookout for a car to get me on the road for the first year. i only wanted somethign small so that the insurance quote would actually be feasible for me to pay, i had no help from parents as they believe i should make my own footing in life, i fully respect that and go by the line - life is what you make it, not what your parents buy for you. so i found an advert in my local morrisons store, 1991 peugeot 205 in red, tax and test 954cc....for 175 quid! pleaded with my dad and finally he took me over to view it, got in started up lovely and then the seller told me he was leaving the top of the range cd player in it as he didnt know how to take it out! imediatly i said ill give you 150 for it and pulled out the cash, he accepted and it was mine! why the cd player was even in this car im yet to work out, but im not guna argue with the bloke! bargain if ive ever saw one! what about everyone else then, what first car did you get, was it worth the money?
