# 81 A birthday question

I have yet to experience the best birthday. This year I will celebrate my 50th and I am going to have a great time! If nobody throws me a party, I am going to throw one for myself. I deserve it!

I have had lots of lovely birthdays - Always with a cake, but the one I remember the most was when I turned 12. I had a slumber party in the new house my parents had bought. We had 6 girls stay over and my mum made curried chicken and rice for dinner. We stayed up most of the night and sang songs along with the record player and told lots of secrets to each other haha.

The best birthday ever was going to my big sis's house for a visit and staying for 10 days! :)

It was most definitley my 21st birthday. Way back then, it was the coming of age, when we no longer needed our parents permission to do all the things we had wanted to do since we were teenagers. I got my own house key and we had a big party in our house. It was the first time that I was allowed to have all my friends in the house and I was allowed to stay up for the whole night.

I think it will have to be my fourth birtday because it was the last time i saw my grandparent he passed away a week later
