Then it is good enough. But for those that don't train in college, purhaps a trade school would be better than no school at all. Right?

you are right M/s, college education is not at all sufficient to survive in real world, Just consider an example where companies are recruting people who has an experiance of atleast 1 year.
That shows there is a big gap between college education and company requirements.
One has to build rapo between college education and companies requirements.
I think companies should take an initiative to build a rapo between student and employee, by conducting softskills traning, brain stroming sessions and they should teach us current technology. So that by the time we finish our studies we are fit to be in any MNC and they too take interest in considering us. Awaiting for reply

I do not feel a college education is enough as most companies are looking for people with previous experience in the field that they are trying to fill. An education alone doesn't see like it will get someone a job. The only exception may be if you have a masters degree or higher in the field then you may have a chance to get a good job.
