I always use a pen as I was taught in school that it was bad manners to write correspondence with a pencil. When signing forms or cheques, it is obligatory to use a pen so I have gotten into the habit of using pens for everything I write. My husband was doing some minor renovations in the house just before Christmas, and would you believe it, we could not find a pencil in the house so that he could make some marks on the timber. My granddaughter gave me a present of one which she received in her santa gifts and that will be kept for one of those very rare occasions when we shall need a pencil.

I find that writing with a pencil can be tiring. Using a ballpoint pen is better as it rolls along as you move your hand. Sometimes even when using a pen my hand will cramp up. This is one of the hazards of using the keyboard so much. Your hand loses the ability to hold a writing increment due to lack of use. And, I might add that handwriting skills lessen as well.

I enjoy writing with an erasable pen that way if I make a mistake then I can erase it. I also feel that pen ink is easier and neater to read than a pencil. It is darker and you do not have to worry about the tip of the pen breaking on you.

I'd prefer to write with a pen over pencil. Pencil is probably better because when you make mistakes you aren't marking out what you've written but preference is the pen anyway. I hate the psns that smear though. We actually went to a local office supply store and picked out some nice pens to give out as christmas gifts, I even gave mom one.
I like the nice writting pens, ones that will write smooth not hard. Seems like we're always losing pens though or run them out of ink. We've had the pens you can refill but we just never seem to actually refill them lol.
My mom would rather have a pen to unless she's drawing, then she has to have a pencil so she can correct any mistakes.

I have never really thought about which I prefer, but if I were making a choice it would have to be ink pen. The reason for this is that I feel it is more permanent, and it looks better than pencil.

I prefer using a pen, more specifically a black pen. The only time I prefer a pencil is when working out a math question. Then it must be a wooden pencil, not mechanical and #2 lead. I'm a bit picky I guess...lol.

I don't like to write with pen or pencil because I make to many mistakes. My hand-writing looks sloppy, because i don't write enough.

A pin if that is my choices, but I would much rather type if it is possible, my handwriting is pretty sloppy sometimes! :)

I prefer to write with pen. Something about the scratching of the pencil on the paper makes my skin crawl worse than nails on a chalk board. I only use pencil for the scantrons at school.

I actually have difficulty holding a writing utensil, due to arthritis, but I do prefer a pen. I like the look of ink on paper, and the sound of a felt tipped pen moving across the page. Pencils tend to break on me, and I get frustrated having to sharpen them.
But what I really love to write with are feather quills. I have a beautiful set someone gave me as a gift, and I write with it whenever I'm feeling up to it.

I like to write with pen particularly ink pen because while using ink pens it is very easy to write fastly as wel as neatly. the clarity shows in pen only especially in ink pen. when we use pencil means it will get dim after sometimes.

When I write, I write in pen. Specifically, I write in black ink only, and the only brand I will write in is a uniball fine point. :P That is, of course, if the choice is mine. I do not know why I'm so specific about my style of pen when I have the choice, but I believe it began WAAAYY back in middle school! LOL I do not write in pencil frequently, because I do not like the way that it looks. The only time I write in pencil is when I'm playing Sudoku. When I'm writting while playing Sudoku, I will only use the push-down style of pencils that gives you a really really thin resulting style. And, when playing Sudoku, you need to erase a lot and pen will just not cut it.
LOL...I don't think you'll find a pickier person than me when it comes to writting utensils! For the most part, though, to answer your question simply, I like to write in pen. :)
