Racism

Do you think that racism has turned 350 degrees and that if you are a WASP or such YOU are now discriminated against? Here in az i was asked if i was bilingual when i ineterviewed for jobs - being naive i said actually tri lingal but what they wanted was for me to know Spanish! minorities have preference - but i think they are becoming majorities - and i ask this question out of curiosity and not beacuse i give a hoot about a persons race - for me a persons worth depends on WHO and not WHAT he/she is!

I'm wondering if what you are referring to is more discrimination than racism. It is true that in some areas employers are perhaps bending over backwards to hire minorities in an attempt to avoid being called a discriminating employer. It is perhaps a safety valve. It seems that the silent majority has been overtaken by the screaming minority. I just don't understand why we have to put tags on people.

Racism exist in every walk of life. Maybe that is the original sin.
