it would depend on alot of factors to give an acurat answer as to if you can lose that amount just as a way to give an answer a 270lb man would have to eat or burn 1500 calories a day under his daily amount to reach 200lb in 5 months 13 days the recomended daily amount for a man is 2500 calories a day but in reality we need alot more than depending on bodyweight going on that scale you would be eating 500 calories a day (around 2 bananas ) most say that a 1 to 2 lb weight loss a week is healthy what sort of exercise are you doing? the best time for cardio work to loose weight is before you eat in a morning around 45 minutes low inpact exersize (slow run exersize bike rowing machine ect) weight lifting is very helpfull in weight loss as you build muscle you burn more calories aswell as get some extra strength and fitness

My doctor doesnt recommend losing more than 2 pounds/week. If I lost that in eight months that would be 56 pounds. Although, I would consult with a medical doctor for what is best and safe for you. Best of luck!

I lost 60 in about 6-7 months at one point on weight watchers, using their online membership. It works, but honestly you have to maintain after that loss and treat it as a lifestyle change. I slowly over 15 months went back to my old eating styles and gained 40 of it back.

yeah stay away from starchy foods and eat vegtables and chicken and drink a lot of water. I have lost weight by doing this before and eat fruits also.

You haven't said what weight you are, or what height you are, or whether you suffer from any medical conditions. You also haven't said what you're eating for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Therefore, anyone telling you that it's safe to lose that amount of weight, and in that period of time, is not offering an educated reply.

First thing, if you believe you can do then it is very much possible. You need to understand your body statistics and your food intake. There are thousands of material available online to achieve your goal. You give you a direction.. First find out how much you weight and how much calories do you take daily. Secondly find out how much calories are required for your body maintanence.Simply reduce the calorie intake and continue exercise to burn fat. For example, if you weigh 200 pounds and your calorie requirement is 1800 then cut it short to 1500 calories and measure the results. If you do not observe segnificant results cut short the calories to 1000. This way you body will keep burning your extra fat and convert into calorie for body maintenance. There are lots of site available which will give you calories count for all food item..monitor and measure calories you are taking in your food..thats it. But the key thing is you have to be dedicated and consistent. I hope you got a direction and will start to work out your plan. Best of luck.
