I do with friends once a month, I like Omaha Hi and Follow the Queen , Texas Holdem is ok also.

I love poker, all forms of it! I guess I'm just a gambler, but I was actually happy to see the online sites go away! When I played on my computer it felt like monopoly money instead of my hard earned cash (big problem)... The tracker said I won like $4,500 or so, but it doesn't count some of those big losses when I was drunk in the cash games late night!

That's one thing I avoided online or playing at home is playing when I was drunk enough to not know what I was doing, I value my money too much to do that.

be careful that's a borderline addiction then and eventually can catch up with you and you might get into debt. Oh and don't give the "I'm too good a player", there is always someone out there that can take advantage of a gambling addict.

I guess you have what some like to call self control... Unfortunately, I really don't have it when it comes to gambling (not that I've gone in debt for it), but the competition of beating the odds!

I love poker, i play Texas holdem every saterday night with my paintball team to loosen up and have a good time to prepair for matchs on sunday. we use a 50doller buy in for a 5 person game, what buy in does anyone else use or other ways of playing to loosen up and have some fun

we don't play for quite that high of stakes, we prefer to keep it a friendly game, people buy in for $20 of chips and bring another $20 if they need to buy in later, but we play dealer's choice for games so the games are a variety.
