Venice Faces a poverty problem. so the mayor of wants to charge the tourists to pay one euro per day..how ever italian government vetoed the proposition. one example of the conflict the mayor faces ..the disposal system is expensive for venice because of its unique beauty..basically the way city is set up...example is all the canals...so my question is as a tourist and a admirer of venice would u pay about one euro a day to visit in venice?

No,I would not pay such a charge.Venice is already one of the most expensive cities in Europe, and Im pretty sure they can find resources to maintain the city within taxes and expenses tourists and citizens already pay them,or maybe ask for help to their government, but overtaxing tourists is not a wise idea.
