Do you have a tattoo or two? I have two and they are in places you can only see them if you are invited. And most people aren't invited. Anyway, I have a tattoo of a ladybug on my left hip and of the X-Files logo on my right hip.
Do you believe in them or think they are a disgrace? I know some people have religious beliefs against them.

I like tattoos. I have two of them. One is on my stomach, it is a small tribal design going under my bellybutton. I also have one on my back...a flower with some designs going out around it. I love both of them and I can't wait to get more tattoos. Some people hate them, but they are entitled to their own opinion about it.

That is funny! I have 2 lady bugs on me! One on my shoulder and one on my ankle. Lady bugs are good luck so I figured if I was gonna get a tattoo it shoud bring me some luck! I also have one on my lower back. I think that tattoos are great as long as they mean some thing. They are some thing that will be on you for ever so I don't think you should get one spur of the moment I think it should be thought out and mean some thing. I also don't belive in getting names tattooed on you. In fact my tattoo artist won't put any names on you in less you can prove the name is your childs. I respect him a lot for that.

I have one tattoo that I got about ten years ago. It is of an american flag and it is located on my right shoulder blade on my back.
It was a gift from my wife. I got it over Thanksgiving break while I was in college, and when I got home it had bled all the way threw the bandage and my wife freaked out. I had to promise that I would never get another one again.

I love tattoos as an artform and an attractive feature also, i have my fair share from spiders to tribals and each one is for a meaning. For people that want to get a tattoo but not hate it in the long run, take time on your first for it will make you want more and more like some people including myself or make you hate the idea for ever like a friend of mine who got the wrong tattoo.

I waited until I was 21 to get any tattoos....and my mom and dad were pissed!! The first one I got was a butterfly on my shoulder with my kids' names on it, but then I got a cross with "2Pac" underneath it on my lower back. LOL it was worth it just to see the looks on their faces!
I don't think they're a disgrace. In fact, I think they're a form of self-expression. I hope you enjoy your tats forever! :)

I have a tattoo on my toe. I have another on my arm. And two on my ankle. I have a lot of conservative people in my life that just dont understand. I see no problem with them and think they are fun. I am not sure what any religious beliefs are regarding tattoos.

I do.
I have one large one on my lower back. It's of a dragonfly with tribal going out on both sides of it. The main color is blue.
I got it about five years ago and recently I've found that I wish I wouldn't of gotten it. I don't know if it's my age now or what.

I understand that tribal tatts are a huge thing. I just wonder what tribe they represent? Do you know? I mean, can you pick from different tribes? Indian tribes? Or what?

Tattooing isn’t inherently evil; it got it’s ‘evil’ status because GOD-less heathens from places like the South Pacific were tattooed. Do what pleases GOD; and one thing that pleases GOD is to be confident in oneself (not overly prideful, but confidence tempered with discernment, almost bordering on arrogance). Tattooing can bring out that confidence, because to be tattooed requires commitment . And that’s a conquering power over fear and old ruts. GOD wants mature dynamic individuals that fear him to fellowship with, not people cowering in fear from some rigid set of laws. Note: fear of GOD is totally different from cowering in fear.

I don't have it.And don't want to have one.I think it harms the skin.It also makes the skin loose its shine.

I don't have any tattooes. I've never liked them. To me, they marr the body and take away from the natural beauty of the human body, instead of adding to it.
However, if I were going to get a tatoo, I'd get the only one I've ever seen I really like. Chris Meloni has a Cubist Christ on his left arm. The first time I saw it, I was struck by it because it looks not only like a crucified Christ at first glance but also like a dagger. I liked that aspect of it: It can look like a symbol of peace, sacrifice and faith; or it can be mistaken for something dangerous. That appealed to me. But otherwwise, no way I'd ever have a tat.
