Manny Pacquiao is the 2006 FIGHTER OF THE YEAR.In 2006 Pacquiao avenged a March 2005 loss to "El Terible" Erik Morales by becoming the first fighter to stop the Mexican star and he did it TWICE.Pacman rallied to stop Morales in ten rounds to even their score last January 21 and then overwhelmed the future Hall-of-Famer in three action packed rounds in the rubber match last November 19 of 2006 sandwich in between the Morales bouts, Pacquiao found time to return to the Philippines to score a unanimous decision over former junior featherweight champ Oscar "Chololo"Larios of Mexico in front of a widly enthusiastic home hometown around july.Becuase of his contributions to Boxing Sports and his unstoppable punches that made all his contender down with just a short span of rounds made him to be recognized all around the world and make all his filipino people proud of him and made an inspiration to upcoming boxers especially to all filipino boxers and made him as Fighter of the Year!Proud to be PINOY!
