I am planning a trip to Vegas in a couple of weeks and would love to hear others experiences. I have never been before, but we did manage to get show tickets and are staying in "old" Vegas. What games are best to play?

I agree, what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, however, you don't have to tell the entire experience :). This past July was my 21st birthday and my birthday present was a trip to Vegas. My birthday is the 4th of July (pretty cool huh?) and so it was very wild there. However, the fireworks didn't go off...BOO! Anyway, we stayed at TI (or Treasure Island). Depending on how much you want to gamble, there are a varitey of games that you can play and not break your bank. Keep in mind that when you gamble, you should have the mindset that you will be losing money. Winning money is just an added bonus. You don't play to win, you play to have fun. The penny slots are great for wasting time (i.e. waiting for someone). Since you will be staying in Old Town (or downtown), the table games have 5 dollar minimums. Keep in mind that these tables will fill up quickly for obvious reasons. Roulette is good because you can bet a dollar if you want, but what's the fun in that? My favorite game is blackjack. Single deck blackjack gives you the best chance to win, but getting a blackjack only pays 8:7 as opposed to 2:1 with multideck blackjack. If you're going to play multideck blackjack, then play the non-shuffle machine blackjack (where the dealer shuffles all of the decks). This type of multideck has the best chance of payoffs. I've recently getting into Let It Ride and Three Card Poker, you can win money fast, but possibly lose money faster. I would experiment with many games and see which one suits you. Craps is a popular game, but I just didn't have any luck with it at all, so I don't like the game period. But just because I don't like it doesn't mean you won't. Play slots that have bonus rounds, those payoff the best. I could probably babble on and on, but I hope this is somewhat of a start. Hope this helps.
