I know the country.
Maybe it is a great country, But the country treat chinese is bad, the people in the country don't treat chinese as a friend, murder many chinese, So I don't like the country, I am sure most of the people in the world don't like the country, because there always full of violence.
I am sorry to say that, but it is in fact.

I don't know where to start. But let me try to tell you a little bit of what I know about Indonesia.
1. Indonesian are very friendly and honest. Though like all the human races in the world, you would and could find unfriendly and not honest Indonesian as well. However in general they are good people.
2. The weather in Indonesia is quite warm and suitable to live. Despite the fact that some people are scared to live in Indonesia because of the polution (I am talking about the capital city, Jakarta here).
3. The food are extremely good. You could find any kind of food here in Indonesia, from too salty (ikan asin), too sweet (gula merah), and too weird (like those traditional food such as: ketoprak, gado-gado, rujak cingur, bakwan, tempe mendoan, etc).
4. Places to visit in Indonesia are excellent. Almost everybody knows Bali. Indonesia also has Bunaken (Manado), Lake Toba and Brastagi (Sumatera), Lombok, Tana Toraja (Sulawesi), Nias for surfer, and many more to mention.
I think, for a holiday destination; Indonesia would definetely a must to visit.

Indonesia has around 300 ethnic groups, each ethnic culture that has developed over the centuries, influenced by Indian culture, Arabic, Chinese and European, including the Malay culture itself. In the field of clothing the famous cultural heritage around the world is batik handicrafts. Some of the areas famous for the industry include batik of Yogyakarta, Surakarta, Cirebon, Pandeglang, Garut, Tasikmalaya and Pekalongan. The most dominant influence in the architecture is the architecture India, but there is also the influence of Chinese architecture, Arab, and Europe. The most popular sports in Indonesia are badminton and football; Indonesia Super League is the league major soccer clubs in Indonesia. Sports include traditional takraw kick (sepak takraw) and karapan cattle (karapan sapi) in Madura. Each province in Indonesia have a traditional music with something special apart. Traditional music, including Keroncong originating from Portuguese descent in the area of Tugu, Jakarta, which is known by all people of Indonesia and even to other countries. There was also music in Indonesia that is known by the name of Dangdut music influenced by Arab, Indian, and Malay. Indonesian cuisine varies depending on the region. Rice is the staple food and side dish served with meat and vegetables. Spices (especially chili), coconut milk, fish and chicken that is important.
