you and your dotnet it is a microsof product, but that is not the reason why i answer like i answer... it depends what you are programming. many games like battlefield and need for speed series has c+ programming now, but they are going to be more and mroe java based lie runescape(bad games but...) is a good example of what you can do with java chracter is one object, tree is another object etc. and those do like the input tells them to do... well i have had some difficulties with need for speed most wanted i am getting a c++ error but whe i read it carefully i got something that is turning to java so it might be that nexta generation games are java based just like runescape, but with better game engine adn modelling... so that is my short and descriptive andswer why java rules the world soon.... PHP is good for websites jsut had to add it here :)
