What do you seek in a mate?

When I was younger I looked for dopey, plain, or downright ugly guys to go out with because their expectations are lower as is their opportunities to cheat. Besides I always look deeper than the face at my lovers. My fiancee' now is good looking but he is 18 years my senior. Although he doesn't look it.
I look for guys who are funny, who make me laugh, guys that don't beat on me, guys that are intelligent, guys that are not all that sexually experienced to take and "freek out!".
I think for now that I am done looking though. I have a winner! With a rather nice weiner.LOL just being facetious but it is!

i look for girls with confidence, that is the main thing that attracts me to a women, then their personality, can i hold a conversation with them? do we have anything in common? also at this time i look at them again, do i find them attractive sexually? this isnt the greatest thing on my list but it does matter, the people who say it doesnt are either the minority or lieing. it doesnt play a part in every relationship and not always a huge part, but it does play a factor in my relationships...that may be just cause i am young and relationships change weekly in my experiences but i guess i just have a lot to learn...

I look first for confidence, then I look for compatibility, then I look for his sense of humor, I'm not very materialistic, so while money is a concern, I'm not saying my mate would have to be a millionaire.
