Yes, we celebrate Halloween. I take the boys trick or treating. The sad thing is because of the society we live in today alot of communities don't have trick or treating anymore. Alot of them have parties at the local community center. It's kind of sad really.

I wasn't allowed to celebrate Halloween as a child and thus never got into it. Now that I live in Europe I sometimes take part in mardi gras here in the spring and that's fun!

I live in Greece and hear we don't celebrate the Haloween. To be exact I don't even know the date for your Haloween. I suppose it's an ordinary day for us!

Technically I still celebrate halloween. I dont decorate my house or anything, but I give candy to people throughout the day.

My kids and I love Halloween. We usually trick or treat on the day but on the weekend after we throw a huge halloween party. They get to invite their friends from school but then all of my neices and nephews come too. My sister and brothers love it too. All of us adults dress up and we play games right along with the kids. From apple bobbing ( we don't put the apples in water, did that before and it was a big mess) we take fishing line with a clean needle and run it through the apple and out the other side. Then my brother gets the joy of climbing up the tree to hang them from the branches. Everyone gets their hands tied behind their backs and they have to catch the apple in their mouth. It is hillarious to watch adults do this. We play limbo and the kids hit a pinata. Tons of food too.

It is not really celebrated here in singapore, other than party goers who go out in full force with their costumes!

We celebrate it! WE decorate the house a little spooky, take the kids trick-r treating for a little bit and then have people over to see ALL the trick-r-treaters that come to our house. Let me tell you, we just moved to this neighborhood last year and they sent out a neighborhood letter telling us that we could expect 200-300 trick-r-treaters. They weren't joking! Last year we 230! OMG! We kept a tally by the door and they started coming at 5:30 and kept on knocking till after 9!!!!

We always try to take the grandkids by the houses of people in our church. With the crime climate like it is, we don't enjoy it nearly as well as we used to. When I was young, someone might put an ice cube in your bag, but there was nothing designed to heart like there are today. We only let the kids take wrapped pieces.
Safety Tips
Trick or treat while there is still some sunlight or in well lighted locations
Visit the homes of people you know
Always, always, always, have an adult along
(you don't necessarily have to share your candy with him, but it would be nice)
Never eat candy found un wrapped in your bag.
Halloween can be a fun time for all if the proper security steps are taken
