ill tell u on thing that the thread of the matrix trilogy is taken from the indian epics MAHABHARATA & RAMAYANA....

I personally dosent feel so. Inspiration can come from many sources. The great movie of Jurassic part is actually taken from a novel. Similarly are many movies. Even the Troy movie,which is taken from greek epics,had the story line changes so as to make the greeks look as the bad guys.
