Anybody new to car driving?
I am new to car driving. Recently I learnt car driving and got the Driving Licence. Everybody was advising me to go on a long trip so that I could become a confident driver. So I drove from Bangalore to Ghati. I gained little confidence. Then I went to Kolar. One thing I observed is the risk in overtaking the vehicles. Gauging the distance is important. I overtook few cars and lorries and gained some confidence. Many cars and busses overtook me and once I tried to go behind a overtaking vehicle to overtake the vehicle in front of my vehicle. The vehicle which I was following successful but I observed a tempo was approaching me with Headlights on. I thought this is riskier or I am not yet experienced for such overtakes.
Even night driving also I am not comfortable when a vehicle is coming from the opposite side. For a split of a second my vision goes blank. Please suggest me a remedy for this.

For night driving, you need to not look at the oncoming lights. Look up and slightly away from the lights, but do keep your eyes on the road. If you can avoid it, don't drive at night. Just be careful if you do have to drive at night.
