What will you do if you found out that three of your daughters or sisters were raped by somebody you trust, much more someone related with you by consanguinity? How would you feel?I heard this story from a relative in the province and I could hardly believe it. I knew the guy and I knew the girls even when they were still babies. They were orphaned at a very young age and was left under the care of their grandmother, with aunts and uncles to watch over them. The girls grew up to be attractive. The youngest of them was very close with their uncle. He was strict with them, acting like a doting father, the one they never had when they were growing up. Everyone around them thought of his being strict as something normal because he was their uncle but...one by one, no one knew that he was sexually molesting the girls. The eldest left their home in the province. The second one, being the smartest, a valedictorian in HS followed her eldest sister in Manila. With the youngest girl left alone.She stopped going to school and joined fraternities and was crying every night calling out her mother's name while praying. The last time I heard about her is that she was carrying a child...with her uncle as the father.
