an expression of love from granpas to grandmoms

my grandpop was 74 when he died..he had cancer of the liver..my granmom is still alive but with a heart problem(a big one)grandpop loved grand mom soo much that he hid his ailment for 14years..coz he doesnt want her to worry,doing his obligation everyday with renewed vigor..hugs her everyday..takes care of her in the hospital while hiding the pain inside him not forgetting to tell her ilove yous everday...he goes out every friday and no body knows where hes goin..a few days before he died...he called my uncle my aunt my dad my mom(i was there too)he told them tha he only has few days left an instructed them to give my grandma a relaxant then bring her to him in the hospital(grandma didnt know that he was in the hospital as he told her he is just goin to manila to visit a friend)when the two met..all he can say is hes sorry that he cant live that long to take care of her..and that he loves her so much a touch in the forehead a kiss in there too my grandmom just just smiled with tears in her eyes and told him"just wait for me there"...a few hours after that meeting he died.HOW WILL YOU EXPRESS YOUR LOVE TO YOUR PARTNER? Oh my, yep that brought the tears right out. Thank you for sharing that with us. Very touching. I can't say, I try to not let a day go by without telling my husband I love him. It's what he hears when he wakes up, leaves the house, comes home and when he goes to bed. We try everyday to spend time together and share with each other. I try so very hard not to think about when the day comes when one of us leaves the other. I just don't think I could go on.

i feel the same way about my husband. that was such a sad, but sweet story. i just hope that when the time comes we know so that we can say i love, see you soon and all that and get one last kiss. just thinking about it makes me cry!
