Evolution of a man and women. Women win?

I heard on some science channel that men would soon die out leaving women to inherit the earth, because men are not used for protection as much anymore for the family as he was used for back then also the man doesnt hunt anymore for the family. we are all now equal. I am a guy and though this may be true i doubt that would ever happen because of a few main things. one is that we would intervene and make sure men are here to stay. Two im sure there are millions of women who like having us men around especially all of the wifes and daughters who love them so much. I do believe this though that if women were in charge there would be a lot less violence and wars happening. Im sure it would not eliminate wars and crime but im sure it would be a better living for humanity and for mother earth as well.
