lookin at the stugle they undertake the wage they get is not sufficient ... they r worth of gettin much more than that....

I think they are paid moderately in India.Despite the odd hours they work they get average pay.

Exactly! There is a craze for call center here in India thinking that they can get paid as good as the software professionals, but the reality is different.

The pay is good despite the ungodly hours. I've already started a mortgage for a house I could only afford in my dreams. I'm already self-sufficient and I pay my own tuition fee. I already bought a car and I have my gas money. I guess I could say they really do pay handsomely. Now let me ask you this..why do you think that it was just an illusion?

Are you from India? I suppose you are not. The reason I said it was just an illusion is I have seen many of my friends work really hard, but what they get at the end of the month is very little.

it is not true that call center guys earn much because that is not fixed about shift weather of morning or night so it is not fact mostly guys are leaving that job within some period and joining some other job.

Well surely big companies such as Convergys and Etelecare give up as much as 15000 to 35000 to agents per month. However for small companies particulary starting Call center Companies offer as much as 12000 to 18000 or even less to its agents. I have been working in one of the many start up call center here in Baguio and honestly my salary is just a break even for my daily expenses. In short, Salaries in a Call Center depends as to how big the company you are working with.
