The war in Iraq is about weapons of mass destruction and not about oil. I think Iraq had many weapons of mass destruction, which indeed were found... and destroyed. You ask why were they destroyed don't you? They were destroyed because they were US supplied weapons during the Iraq-Iran war when Saddam was the US's man in the middle east.

The WMD I doubt there is not a country in the world that does not have their Secret Mass Destructive weapons... It saddens me... All of what went on... .....
The Wars goin on are a little more than that... I believe in some conspiracy theories is all I can say.
