7th may not be the last Harry Potter book!

I think so... JK has no plans as of the moment to go beyond the 7 she has promised, at least that's what I read... I hope she'll change her mind coz I'm not ready to say goodbye to Harry and co. yet. ;)

According to the author she will not publish anymore after this. She has been doing this series half of her life and is ready to end the saga. It is a shame but I am sure someone will come along and write something just as good.

r u kiddin me??? jk has made it clear dat there is no way in hell, there is gonna be a book after the 7th one, not even a spin off, she has reserved all the rights and plans to take it to the grave wid her, so 7th is the final we will ever see of harry and hogwarts, and anytin related to harry!!!

I think it will be the last book by the author herself, the way I see it from what I have read about her she seems to be done with the books, then after finishing off the movies who knows?

Yeah, I wish that it wasn't the last book but unfortunately for all of us...it is. She's stated in many interviews and on her website. Harry Potter and the Deathly hallows is definately the last book...and I hope everyone (well good people) end up alive!

I really hope not. Rowling is a genius it would be a shame for her to let the story end.
