A few tips on solving general hardware problems.

here are a few tips for those who panic very easily seeing some hardware malfunction of their computer.. if ur machine restarts very often check ur ram....most probably it is the culprit else check for any shorts in mother board which can be made by any insect etc... next if ur machine hangs often be sure to see the motherboard and CPU temperatue. if cpu temperature is high then open the cabinet and the spu heat sink check if it is dirty then eash it in soap water and then clean with brush any kind of brush toothbrush whatever......then there is 99% ur problem will be solved.....if motherboard temperature is high then contact vendor....... to watch the temperature go to bios screen and see the hardware monitor... always keep good quality IDE connectors and power cables or else data transfer is obstructed....at times ur hardware can be detected if the 5 volt line from the SMPS is working but the hardware would not work if 12 volt is faulty...so the main thing is check ur machine regularly and try to keep it dirtfree and always check for loose connections ...etc...it will help u cut down on the amount u pay to the service persons for nothing...
